I ate Bisquick pancakes with a mound of country crock and all the fake syrup every morning for a year straight when I was a much younger man. I was growing A LOT back then and could also house an entire Papa Johns pizza on a Friday night.

I was 6'4" and a string bean. Ah, to have the metabolism of a 15 year old again.

These are to die for...nice fluffy buttermilk pancakes. Even my wife loves them and she used to hate pancakes.

Pretty much the recipe I go with, plus a bit of vanilla and, of course, blueberries when available.

I like to make them big though. Extra special if you cook them on the griddle with bacon grease.

Am I the only one who likes peanut butter on pancakes? An added bonus is that when you eat them with peanut butter, you are not hungry again thirty minutes later.

You’ve contributed so much to the Plague thread In time and expertise but if I could take back all the sporkz I’ve given you, I would for the savagery suggested in this post.

Keep your peanut butter on PBJ’s, apple wedges, my dog’s heart worm medicine, and high protein smoothies where it belongs.

    Pancakes?

    Just ridiculous.

They would go well with my pretzels and vanilla ice cream.

Based on the responses so far, I think that yes, you are the only one.

I haven't tried it on a pancake but have had it on a waffle. It was like a warm open faced peanut butter sandwich.

I was waiting for a program to run. Multi-tasking! And now I'm on lunch break. I have to take a lunch break or it causes problems in the new online time sheet system. I have to log out for a full 30 minutes. PITA!

I’m good with peanut butter on a pancake. I don’t do it often, more often on a waffle.

If you ever get the (unlikely) opportunity, Quebec's numerous sugar shacks are something to behold...(Quebec produces 80% of the world's maple syrup, the government supports the "industry" heavily)...anyway, in the Spring when the syrup is fresh, these sugar shacks open, they're these large barn like structures with numerous long tables where you have communal dining. Waiters bring out platters of pancakes, sausage, bacon, vats of maple syrup, and it's a real free for all, no Miss Manners here, don't be surprised by a lumberjack type guy lunging across your body to get a hold of a fresh batch of pork products. A culinary free for all. Wear washable clothes.

    Thank you, too.

See, I'm not the only one. But I am definitely in a decided minority.

I amend my previous statement, based on the sample of this thread, rsvman is not the only one who puts peanut butter on pancakes.

(Exhibiting the ability to let new evidence change my opinion.)

If it’s crunchy peanut butter, I’m down with it.

My long-standing position that creamy peanut butter is an abomination from Satan’s right armpit still stands however.

Agree. It's always the crunchy kind. I don't consume the creamy stuff.
