Ok, who's going to start the Welcome to Duke Redux thread?
Welcome back? I think this is going to require an explanation.

Rewinded the Tapé!
This is like if the proverbial sour grapes suddenly fell from the vine.
DBR: Yay! Grapes!
DBR can't reach the grapes.
DBR: I didn't really want those grapes anyway. They aren't very good and aren't a good fit. I've had better grapes.
Grapes fall.
DBR: Oh. Sweet!
Is there such a thing as sweet grape rationalization?
We just got (pat)rick rolled.
From Evan Daniels article on 247...
I give the kid credit for some real guts. I cannot imagine calling Coach K to have the, "I told you yes, then told you no, can I now tell you yes again?" conversation with him."I actually spoke with the Duke coaches again and they’ve agreed to let me join the team again," Tape said.
Why are you wasting time here when you could be wasting it by listening to the latest episode of the DBR Podcast?
Reminds me of when I applied early decision to Duke, and then freaked out because I wasn’t sure I could be away from my high school girlfriend. So I asked my Dad to call the school and turn my application to regular decision. Then two days later I freaked out again and wanted to apply early to Duke after all. Luckily my Dad never did call the admissions office, figuring I was a kid who would likely change his mind back-and-forth a dozen times.
After typing this there’s not really too much similar to the Patrick Tape story. But it’s kind of a funny-ish story so I’ll leave it here. Glad Patrick is back with the Brotherhood!
Tape don't lie!
Back to the Tape.
Let's play that Tape again.
Tape replay?
Tape delay?
A week (weak?) of Tape edited.
“I love it. Coach, when we came here, we had a three-hour meeting about the core values. If you really represent the core values, it means diving on the floor, sacrificing your body for your teammates, no matter how much you’re up by or how much you’re down by, always playing hard.” -- Zion
Columbia transfer Patrick Tape is back in the fold as a Duke commit, he tells 247Sports.
Tape, a 6-foot-10, 235-pound post prospect, initially committed to Duke on March 24. Just eight days later, Tape informed the Duke coaching staff that he wanted to reopen his recruitment to rethink his decision-making.
After some deliberation, and even telling 247Sports on Saturday that he needed some time to clear his head, Tape told the Duke staff that he does indeed want to play college basketball there.
"I actually spoke with the Duke coaches again and they’ve agreed to let me join the team again," Tape said.

Patrick Tape to @Stockrisers: “Coach K and Coach Carrawell were understanding of my reasons for decommitting and gave me space to think about it and make peace with it. They were very understanding.”

2020 is going down as one of the strangest (and worst) years in recent memory.
Welcome back I suppose! Come on down Mr. Tape.
Welcome back. He is an experienced player who can give us strength inside. We needed this kind of young man so that we can be protected in the case of injury or fouling tendencies. I give him and the coaching staff credit for coming to a decision that will really work for both.
