I always thought Packer enjoyed Duke losing more than he should. He knows a lot and seems to pay attention to the game, but can be annoying as he claims he knows what everyone is thinking. Nance has done a nice job with the Masters. Anyway- he may do this for a few more years and move on. Maybe Duke can get a few more championships in the meanwhile.
It would be cool if one day a retired Duke player could announce these games. And I love listening to that up-and-comer Bill Raftery provide color commentary ("Send it in Jerome"). He deserves a chance.
