I started to watch it and turned it off after the following sequence:
- Cole Anthony slides over and draws a questionable charge
- no replays of the call
- next possession, Garrison Brooks bowls over Chaundee Brown by hitting him square in the chest on a post up. Usually a charge or no call. But they actually called a technical foul for flopping.
Turned it off at that point.
Interesting espn inaccuracy:
Halftime:
f$u 45
ND 54
but...
ND has outscored the 'Noles 12-10 in the second half to attain that halftime score.
[redacted] them and the horses they rode in on.
I wonder if Kihei Clark is happy to be finally playing against someone shorter than him?
(Clark is listed at 5'9. Miami's Chris Lykes is listed at 5'7.)
If Notre Dame holds on, it's gonna be a wacky finish for the top of the ACC.
That was a massive choke by ND. Mooney flubs a pass where he would have had an easy lay-up. He then gets called for a phantom foul, which gives FSU an and one. And to cap it off Hubb gets caught up along the baseline, manages to wiggle his way through two defenders for a lay-up and promptly bricks it.
That was heartbreaking (for me). ND had a 13 point lead with 10 minutes left. Had FSU taken that loss, we would have had a legit shot at finishing the season with a 4-way tie atop the standings. Technically it is still possible, but it would require FSU losing to BC at home (on top of UVA beating Louisville and us beating the CHeats).
ND worked hard to grab defeat out of the jaws of victory. Sad. 9F.
