One week to play and the tiers are well stratified. With the slight possibility of Boston College weirdness, there are three clear bands - the top 4, all of whom have a shot at at least a share of the regular season crown, the middle five, all of whom enter the last week at 9-9, and the bottom 6, all of whom are likely to play ACCT Tuesday (including UNC, who is still in last by itself, the silver lining of an otherwise crappy week).

Not gonna lie - I would love to see a Duke win Monday, then ND and UVA wins on Wed so that heading to the last Sat it's:

I mean, I guess that FSU/BC game is a yawner, but it makes the UNC/Duke and Louisville/UVA games even better than I could have anticipated a few weeks ago.

Thing that's odd is from a NCAA seeding perspective for Duke, this isn't as favorable as it only gives Duke one chance in the championship to have a top notch win (which is frankly largely discounted being the day before Selection Sunday) while a another UVa loss hurts Duke even more. From the chances to win the ACC tournament title, however, this is preferred to not have to go through both Lville and FSU. I don't think the above is that likely though but who knows.

Slight update - there are scenarios in which FSU would be #1 instead of UVA. FSU and UVA both went 3-2 against the 15-5 teams (in this scenario) so the tiebreaker depends on the record against the #5 teams (which could be as many as 5 in a 5-way 10-10 tie).

I'll bet the farm that Wake Forest team we got won't show up at the dump in Chapel hell. For that matter, the one the cheats saw in Winston Salem will probably be missing in action also. Would love to see the Deacs sweep the cheats, but I have my doubts.
