Given there's no current basketball action, bask in the glory of one of the best games in the rivalry's history and enjoy Rivers's buzzer beater against the Cheats on ESPN right now! I had lost it when my TiVo went bust, so am recording for future enjoyment.
oh no !!! we're behind to the cheats....who will save us?????

Duke down 11 with 5 minutes or so left. Looks over, we can't stop them or hit any baskets.

What a theft!
I have watched the last two minutes of that game dozens of times, but this is the first time since it happened that I watched the whole second half. UNC was completely in control of the game, but could not put us away because they did not hit any threes. The lead stayed at 10-12 points throughout the second half. It was also a choppy game without any flow due to constant fouls. But primarily, we hit 14 threes and they hit 1 so even though they killed us inside and I’m sure their efficiency numbers were great, we still got the W.
Also the shot of Doc Rivers, Dell and Sonya Curry in absolute jubilation after the final shot is a classic. At the time Doc was the head coach of the Celtics and was preparing to face the Lakers the following day. But in that moment he was just a dad, happy for his son.
Epic. Just enjoyed the heck out of it!
IC in meltdown.

Wait, y'all watched the whole game?
I saved myself a lot of agony and watched the "condensed" version here:
[redacted] them and the horses they rode in on.
No agony. You'd be amazed at how much more calmly you can look on as your team is getting killed by a team you hate when you know that, in the end, good triumphs over evil. Honestly, it's refreshing.
I stand by my previous post. The Austin Rivers game is the greatest comeback win over Carolina ever... simply because Duke was behind for a long stretch, being outplayed, and on the last shot they ripped the hearts out of the Heels and won the game. This year Jones' miraculous FT miss and shot was beyond amazing, but it only tied the game. The game was tied when Jones passed to Moore (ahem) for the win. We were losing when Rivers put the shot up. We won when the ball game down. This shot tells it all.

Down 10 with 2 minutes to go. Are we sure this is the right game🤣
I forgot about Zeller’s brilliant tip in.
That was nice! What a great celebration
