Duke connection — Ken Jeong (warning — language usually gets “unguarded” at some point and NSFW):

I highly recommend; much better IMO than the SNL skit portrays although really cool to see the props from them!
It's a legit entertaining interview series and not just for the wing-eating.

Absolutely agree. And the variety of guests is phenomenal.

On the Ken Jeong episode I linked, he has a fun discussion of Cameron and K on wing 7 and a description of the Prince guitar episode I referenced before (that got him banned from NC) on wing 9.

Sean Evans may be the best interviewer out there. Legit.

Sriracha was the hot new sauce 5-6 years ago. What is it today?

Don't know about sauce, but Harris Teeter has Blue Diamond almonds on sale. I bought one each of their new Extreme flavors. Cayenne, Ghost Pepper, and Carolina Reaper. Will let you know.

When I do a little shimmy, my wife says I’m a spicy pepper. Does that count?

Depends. Do you do it in your flip flops?

Gotta give a shout-out to my new favorite hot sauce: Faya!Faya! by Adoboloco (Maui, HI).

Saw this on Hot Ones a few seasons ago (#6 spot IIRC). Really nice flavor, a blend of four hot peppers including ghost, Trinidad scorpion, habanero & jalapeno. Apple cider vinegar and tomato-based. Clocks in at 77,000 Scoville.

This has been my go-to all summer.

Giant stopped carrying my go to hot sauce so I ventured into the organic aisle to see what they had. Tried a few hot sauces but the brand that stuck has been Woodstock. Their habanero is quite nice; their scorpion is too hot for a condiment but has added some heat directly in cooking stews and curries. Solid stuff.
