I hope Duke/K can go 2-0 vs the cheats this season...

If they get Anthony back- this is a different team. So I would wait to see what happens with that guy in the lineup. They wont be great, but much better- enough to get out of the basement of the ACC.

Only way a UNC game gets in the no jinx upset thread the rest of this year is if UNC is winning. And if they were, who would post about it in that thread, because we’d want to jinx it.

Once again, the no-jinx thread is about protecting favorable outcomes, NOT upsets. I would define any UNC loss as a favorable outcome, so a post on that thread is fair game, even if they play a highly ranked opponent like FSU or Louisville.

Raleigh News and Observer fueling speculation this AM that Cole Anthony returns to play for the cheats again this season, possibly as early as today. I'd link it but it appears to be for subscribers only today.

Roy did say in the presser that Anthony will be back "as soon as he's supposed to be out there playing." He said they're not rushing him, but that they said 4-6 weeks and he's a 4.5 weeks now. He basically said he'll play when he's healthy, and that sounds pretty soon.

Kudos to Anthony. Don't want him to miss out on the losing and getting thrown under the bus with his teammates.

Roy also indicated that now that they have a losing record and are losing this late in the season, that this team may not come back and go to the Final 4 and win a National Championship like his other teams that have lost a game.

I know they’ve had some injuries but between Roy’s comments and their slide to last place in the ACC (ain’t it grand), I wouldn’t be surprised if this team just plain quit on ol’ Roy.

Given the general opinion of the ACC, it might be best long term for FSU to hold their own.
