Great win for KC. First Super Bowl in fifty years. Good luck.

...but will Andy Reid say "Let's matriculate the ball down the field boys?"

EDIT: for those who don't know the reference, the one and only Hank Stram...6 sec video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MnPr1R_QlTM

Been a while since the Chiefs were in. Mahomes is something else.

I'm a very happy Chiefs fan. Even better - youth asked if we could start late tonight so I got to see most of the game. Musses the beginning and left after the first victory formation.

I've gotta pull for the Chiefs at this point...Andy Reid should have a Superbowl.

Certainly the strongest championship guarantee since "The Tigers from Death Valley will win the College Football Playoff":

Here's the last KC QB to take the Chiefs to a Super Bowl...the great Len Dawson.

Pretty cool... video of Kyle Shanahan telling the side judge that a penalty was going to happen just before it happens.

Why are you wasting time here when you could be wasting it by listening to the latest episode of the DBR Podcast?

Put me on the Chiefs side. Fifty years is a long time to wait, and Andy Reid's personal story is a rough one.

    Go KC.

Niners have a fearsome defense and a great running game, but can you pick against the team that has a really top notch QB?
If SF can trample KC on the ground, I'll be really impressed. With two weeks to prepare, you have to think the Chiefs will try to make Jimmy G. beat them...

Glad I have no rooting interest, should be a good game.

I think he'd be delighted. It's been reported that he wanted to keep Jimmy G but The Ageless Tom insisted he be dealt, and Kraft complied.

Once again, the cream rises to the top, Green Mountain Salsa tested as the best Super Bowl salsa. Gotta go to Vermont* to get a real salsa I guess.

    According to?

I'm no connoisseur, but my favorite salsa is Jack's Special Salsa (hot) assuming we're talking store-bought/prepackaged.
