i would say that lack of rest due to travel is far more impactful than playing games back to back or 2 in 3 days. Good sleep is ridiculously critical for recovery, and that's hard to do when you're on a red-eye.
Don't mean to seem naive, but, as noted by K, there is an academic impact from the travel schedule -- especially with exams next week.
