No more Army on the schedule, interesting.

'When I got on the bus for my first road game at Duke, I saw that every player was carrying textbooks or laptops. I coached in the SEC for 25 years, and I had never seen that before, not even once.' - David Cutcliffe to Duke alumni in Washington, DC, June 2013
For goose bump memories, try this little 3 min video from the last NCSU Duke game...

This appears to be as favorable a schedule as I can recall.
A cause for optimism with so many unknowns for next year.
Nope. But that is the current CFB landscape. They could cut back on the number of bowls and increase the minimum wins threshold but ESPN prefers more games to telecast.
I realize you already know everything I said. Not trying to enlighten anyone I am just stating the obvious.

Cutcliffe surely thinks so, he's been to at least two of them, 2012 and 2017...but to answer your question, probably not, but we have about 40 bowls so in that context mediocrity is good enough...we haven't
had a winning record in the ACC in quite a few years, so even 6-6 hasn't been easy for us

Laken Tomlinson is getting a ton of love from Bay Area TV media after the niners put up nearly 300 yards on the ground against GB in the NFC championship game, especially since the bulk of those yards —more than 200– were gained by their back-up RB, Mostert. Even Joe Buck, who seemingly ialways angles against the guys/teams I cheer for, singled out Laken’s dominance at the line of scrimmage during the broadcast.
Really happy for Laken! Let’s hope this gives us some extra juice in OL recruiting moving forward.
