I vividly remember Georgia in her playing days. She was really good. One of my sons had the great fun and privilege of playing on the men's practice team against Georgia and her teammates

Much later, actually this week, Dr Georgia Beasley, had the great fun and privilege of operating on me. :-) Georgia is a great surgeon and person. Go Duke!

It continues to baffle me that Dr. Schweitzer Beasley does not have her number hanging in the rafters of Cameron Indoor Stadium. She was twice ACC Player of the Year. Key player on the NCAA Runner-Up team in '99. She was the best player the team had ever had until Alana Beard and Monique Curry stepped foot on campus.
