I'll be there for my first visit back to campus in many years. Hope to see some of you.
Time to move on to this week's game against Georgia Tech. A victory over the Yellow Jackets would put Duke at 4-2 over the first half of the season and on track to secure at least six wins.
Duke is currently an 18.5 points favorite in Las Vegas with the Over/Under set at 49 points.
ESPN Football Power Index gives Duke a 92.6% chance to win the game.
Sagarin ratings have Duke at 44 and Georgia Tech at 99.
I'm looking forward to being back in Wallace Wade Stadium Saturday afternoon cheering on our Blue Devils!

Can't wait. We will have a big crew with us for tailgating and watching a big Duke win. Time to re-group Devils.

I like that Cut was 4-3 against Paul Johnson from 2012-2018 (I consider 2008-2011 a mulligan for Cut/Duke -- just catching up to the rest of the ACC).
2003 was an all time great day to be a Blue Devil.
I had forgotten about it till I saw the score in the list ... senior class winless in ACC for four years to that point ... and come to their lockers for their final home game to find handwritten letters from their parents about how they are winners ... Malcolm Ruff for the pick 6 ... Ted Roof's finest moment -- a truly loving, caring moment in youngsters' lives ...
To clarify the thread title, this game is on the ACC RSN package, which did not go away for some complicated reasons. More detailed broadcast information will be available later in the week, especially for those not in the conference footprint, but if you have a local RSN, you can look ahead for the schedule to see if you will get it.
My U-verse TV schedule shows the game on FS1 (Channel 1724 in Greenville, SC).
I'm still curious as to why there are still RSN games (for all football/basketball and nonrevenue sports BTW), so if you have any insight it would be greatly appreciated. All markets with RSN games (the RSNs in the ACC footprint and some other RSNs outside the footprint on a game-by-game basis) also stream on Fox Sports Go only (or your local RSN equivalent). If blacked out in your market, the game streams on WatchESPN only.

Great article as always.
If we play our game, we win. Which is nice to be able to say. This will be a good test of where the team’s head is right now — was the Pitt game an outlier or a sign of trouble to come?
Exactly. Duke cannot afford a hangover. Jim's final paragraph sums it up nicely:
Make no mistake; this is a big game. Cutcliffe noted that Duke now has one home ACC loss and cannot afford another. It’s hard to chart a plausible scenario for a winning season without a win over a 1-4 visitor and there’s no question Harris’ optimism about shaking off the Pitt loss will have to be confirmed on the field.

We do have a channel list for the game:
http://theacc.com/sports/2019/10/7/FB_RSN_GT_DU_19.aspx
There should be more information later, but it you are an in-market subscriber to one of these channels, you should have the game there.
The contract was signed for a long, period of time and nobody really wanted to buy those games back. ESPN is trying to maintain flexibility on its channels and trying to use ESPNEWS less for live events. It would have cost them more money to set up an alternative channel like they have with SEC Network. All entities involved had more complicated things going on in terms of mergers and negotiations so nobody felt like trying to change the status quo for this package.
My favorite part...

But David Cutcliffe is really falling on his sword over this one, focusing on spending too much time in practice working on too many new plays, thus confusing his offense.
“But when you call something that people know, you’re putting them in a better circumstance,” Cutcliffe told the media today. “I got out of my character by adding too many things.”

Coach taking ownership... BEST!!!
In the Triad area, the game is on DIRECT TV channel 631.
