Tied for best round of the day, and advanced from 51st to T13. 8 birdies, no bogies.

    Quite a day!

    Celine Boutier

Recently had a brief Celine Boutier DM. Recognized me as a fan. Went to a football game she was recognized for her NCAA trophiesTold her I thought Dan Brooks was a fantastic coach.
Celine Boutier of France, who won her first LPGA event last year and made her debut in the Solheim Cup, won the Texas Women's Open at Old American Golf Club near Dallas, where she lives. Boutier shot 67 in the final round to win by three over Cheyenne Knight, who won her first LPGA event last year at Old American. That was pre Covid 19 in January,2020

Make that 12:05. I’m not if I stumbled across inaccurate information earlier or if tee times have been moved forward.

EDIT: it appears tee times have been adjusted with threesomes being utilized.

Long -3 thru 7 and has a good birdie attempt at 8! He is within 2 of the lead although probably gonna be hard to win without some help. Still he is in great position to get a Top-10 and he has a chance to win...

He’ll need a to birdie a few more since Thompson and Finau have more holes to play. But great 2nd half of tournament after nearly missing cut.

Long is in the clubhouse, Co-Leader at -17. I doubt it holds but one never knows.

Yep, doesn’t look like Adam will finish any worse than T2. Of course, one bad shot by Thompson and even with 2 birdie holes left, we could be in a playoff.

Yeah, Thompson has some pressure on him. Should be a fun last few holes. Would love to see some playoffs

And Max Homa could get into the mix with a birdie at 18. But Thompson is just short of the green, in a bunker, on the short par 4 16th.

Oh well, 2nd with great 2-day finish. Projected Fedex points standings after today, Streelman 19th and Long 20th.
