Eddie Money, who contributed to the soundtrack of my youth, has died at the young age of 70.
I hope he got a ticket to paradise.

Saw him Sept 1982. The lineup at the Pontiac Silverdone that night was Eddie Money | The Clash | The Who.
Darn good show; Eddie was money. Apparently Eddie was upset about being dropped to third bill, despite having the #2 selling record in Detroit (No Control). He played the hits, he won the crowd - at the expense of The Clash, who largely did neither, until finally, upon asking lyrically if they should stay or go, were flatly told to "go".
Eddie Money and Ronnie Spector, forever on my playlist. One of those songs I never tire of, Eddie has been taken home.
