Interesting that ESPN would schedule Duke/Miami against the NFL Wildcard game. I ask awhom is valued opinion.
Tennessee @ New England (8:15) on CBS.
DUKE at Miami 8pm on ESPN
It will be an interesting Saturday night of sports. Patriots surely will carry tons of viewers. How much will the Duke fanbase eat into the overall NFL ratings ?
The ESPN portion of the Miami game averaged 841,000 viewers.

If you want to know how quickly a network can bleed viewership, the ESPN portion of the NFL game averaged 8,215,000 viewers and was probably at its highest by the end of the game. The coverage that they had instead of sending it to our game immediately averaged 2,440,000 viewers.
Thank You awhom. Very interesting to say the least.
Any updates?
I mentioned it briefly earlier, but ESPN does not pay for ACC Network to be rated, so we are unlikely to get anything unless they specially order numbers and release them.
That means that the channel does not have the same model for advertising as other channels and is why we endlessly mock the commercials for the companies willing to buy time.
The Clemson game averaged 1,136,000 viewers.

Will anxiously await Awhom's report on the tv ratings for this game ! If he can break down the numbers/time of the game - that would be great. Curious as to the numbers at the start of the game vs the OT period !
A big Thanks in advance!
Game was broadcast by ESPN so ratings numbers should be available. ACCN broadcast games are not available.
