Bizarre question-need some help

A friend of mine from El Salvador (lives here in Richmond) is heading home in 2 weeks because his mother needs surgery and needs two catheters implanted, yet
his country has none, specifically Medtronic ClosureFast(trademarked) Endovenous Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA) Catheter

He's already checked to make sure they'll pass customs (they will), but where and how to find?

I’m pretty sure that’s exactly what was used on me two weeks ago (to close a primary vein) at a Vein Center. I’d contact Vein Centers here and in El Salvador.

I think he is saying his friend needs to bring medical equipment for the doctors to use since they don't have any local supply.
