2019 ACC Football - Week 1

Week 1 (ish) kicks off today With Miami taking on Florida tonight at 7:00 so I suppose it is time to get this thing started. Will be nice to get a little taste of football this weekend before the main event next Saturday!

Yeah, it doesn't feel right, but I've never really liked Florida (Spurrier notwithstanding). Manny Diaz comes off fairly likable to me as well.

I'm with you on the hard maybe but there is no doubt turnovers is the story in the 1st half.

Not sure I’ve ever seen more head-scratching plays in one game. Sloppy sloppy game...

My take is that Florida is def not top 10, and that Miami is def not going to win the Coastal.

PS...how sad to be a Canes fan. You have to stew for an extra week until your next game, thinking about woulda coulda shoulda.

I would argue this is Week 0, but I guess we're combining the two since this game was moved back a week for TV.

Week 1 can tell you if there's a bad season coming up if you have a bad loss. FL isn't a bad loss.

Apparently, the UF band director was blocked, err, grabbed from behind and thrown to the turf, err, pavement.

No penalty was called.
