    Native American Fishing Weirs PEE DEE River NC/SC State Line

    A piece of Native American history right here in NC. Friend of mine made this a while back, thought you might find it interesting. The tribes used to drive fish into the traps, then the tribe would net them, and smoke them for lean times. Usually done during the shad runs of early spring.
