    That is a venomous thought.

Much easier to see the snakes coming there

Although don't confuse the snakes with the lounge lizards.

After a few drinks, you'll find out who the real asp-holes are.

Thanks for the link. This caused me to look him and I discovered Posner summitted Mount Everest last year?!? What?! And I didn't realize his rattlesnake bite was during his 3,000 mile walk across America. I guess he's in decent shape.

Or he couldn’t decide on whether to repair his old car or buy a new one.

Even the baby rattlesnakes get automatic right-of-way. I found one on Monday in a crawlspace access while I was stepping down to go under the house. Levitating didn't work but clawing at the siding did.

I used to do a lot of running through there. The signs don't lie. Ditto for Mission Trails Park.
A lot around here where I live, too. It's worth paying attention.
Still, better than around Alice Springs which is where I did a lot of my growing up. No rattlers there but everything else wants to kill you.

When I read that Michael Posner got bitten, I had 2 immediate thoughts. He went to Duke? And, sheesh, he's not a young man, this could be serious.

Fortunately, I was thinking of the eminent 85 yr old psychologist rather than the 34 yr old musician.

And he doesn’t want anyone to think they are better than him.

Whoops…I meant “no one is cooler than him”. I am getting old.

But this does make me see him in a different light. My opinion had been colored by this song, which was written about a classmate of his, so seemed mean-spirited.
