Duke provides more "bang for your buck"

Duke comes in ranked 10th for best education for the price relative to career earnings among private schools.

Other notable was NC State coming in at 22nd for public schools.

Reminds me of the 70s when Duke was rated in Playboy … "premed hedonists"

Lists are fun, but this is a rather specialized one. It postulates you are the child of a family making, IIRC 45-75k a year and getting financial aid. So your best bet is to go to an extremely prestigious school with a lot of money to give out in aid grants. Easy-peasy! Tell your kids now.

Looking forward to the list of “SCAM UNIVERSITIES” to be released. Our cheating neighbors down 15-501 should be at the top of the list. Hell, they might name the list after them.

Yeah, if the cost of Duke is less than or equal to the cost of a public university (as is the case in this analysis), of course Duke is going to win over the public school.

"pre-med hedonists"? That is surely the definition of oxymoron. But maybe premeds were different in the 70s.
