Should be a Flagrant foul on Lewis
Should be a Flagrant foul on Lewis
Lewis with a nasty arm across Gorecki's face -- this time it's called an intentional foul.
25 point lead and out team is diving on the floor for loose balls - love it.

By far Duke’s best 40 minutes of the season.
If you thought you'd see Emily Schubert getting minutes in this game, take a bow. Quite a convincing win. Amazing what we can do when we play up-tempo for 40 minutes.
That was fun.
We are now 4-4 in the league.

Never knew that Syracuse has the same alma mater as that baby blue school down the road
Yes, that was fun to watch... a 30 point win on the road! Hope they can keep playing that well the rest of the year and get back into the postseason discussion.

That was the most enjoyable Duke WCBB game I've watched since the 2018 NCAA Tourney shellacking of UGA down in Athens. I don't know what to expect from Ga Tech on Sunday... they beat FSU in Tallahassee .... yet lose to BC at home.
This is the first cheer I learned from my buddy who got me cheering for Duke, but we repeated the bolded. I guess the 2nd cheer I learned was for football. When a cheat player was lying on the field, we'd yell paint a line over him and play on. That of course if it looked like it was a minor injury. Thanks for the memories and GTHC.
GoDuke!
A most enjoyable game to watch, love the man D.
On a side note, I nominate Alana as our new head Coach !
The open corner is a huge weakness in McCallie's matchup zone, yet she insists on going to that well early and often.
What was different about the Syracuse game was the early deployment of man-to-man, instead of just as a mechanism to use in the fourth quarter when behind by a good margin (which has been done in recent games).
With any luck, Duke will primarily use man-to-man defensive schemes and only selectively employment the matchup-zone when the skillsets of the players on the floor warrant its use. And if that happens, Duke will look like a completely different team - one that can rebound (pun intended), finish strong, and sneak into the NCAAT.
"Please" Mams. "May we have more?"
Anybody else think8ng of attending the Duke-GT game in Cameron Sunday?
