Did the Pentagon weaponize ticks?

Congress passed a resolution to determine whether or not a Pentagon effort to turn ticks into biological weapons backfired and is partly to blame for the proliferation of tick-borne illness like Lyme Disease. The investigation was prompted in part by the publication of a book called Bitten.

This sounds like the start of a bad sci-fi movie but is 100% real.

Not so sure about this one. Studies show that where deer are common, instances of lyme disease increase. And, this info correlates almost exactly as the white tailed deer population continues to rise. So sue Bambi..
