One of the funniest human beings, ever.

The dentist sketch with Harvey Korman is one of the best combinations of improvisation and mime ever. Only found out today that Korman wet his pants trying, but failing, to refrain from laughing during the skit. Performing with Conway must have been such fun, but the ultimate professional challenge.

Conway's Siamese circus elephant story, with Vicki Lawrence's straight-faced reaction may be the second funniest TV skit ever.

I would add to those his role of the boss to Carol's Mrs. Wiggins, and the soldier who swallowed a grenade so his insides were hollow.

one of the best deadpanners ever.

FYI, the Carol Burnett Show is now on Prime. Watched the first one last night (Lucille Ball as guest star), and Tim Conway was merely a secondary cast member. He made an impact, quickly.

Tim Conway has passed at 85

I hate to be the guy starting these threads, but My Goodness!!!

I loved Tim Conway! He was so integral to The Carol Burnett Show, and half the time I just watched to see how long Harvey Korman could keep a straight face in a skit with him.

    R.I.P.

Edit: Here's one one of the best TV clips of all time:

There's also the elephant story, The Old Man, Mr. Hwiggins, ...

Another FYI...your kids may have enjoyed Tim Conway just as much as you, as they watched Spongebob Squarepants.
He and Ernest Borgnine voiced Mermaid Man (Borgnine) and Barnacle Boy, a parody of Aquaman/ Batman and Robin. They were old geezers in the ocean, fighting crime, ironically often making fun of memory loss.
Both were hilarious in their roles.
