Maybe I should have gone with "Starvation Man" Mickelson instead of "Clutter Man" Spieth.

I'm staying away from "water and special coffee fast" Phil on this one

As much as I don't want to pick Koepka again as he hasn't played well recently, he came up on the euro tour, hits it low as well as anybody, and his caddie grew up playing the course. Tiger has also been a regular on my teams but his US Open performance and the long layoff have scared me away. So I ended up with:

    Koepka - 10
    Rory - 8
    Fleetwood - 4
    Oosthuizen - 3
    Stenson - 3
    Poulter - 2

    Winning score - 12

Basically I went euro-heavy and deep vs my top-heavy teams of the past. I was mostly torn on Rory vs Molinari - I'm worried the pressure of playing at home will be overwhelming for Rory, but went with the fan pick of who I'll be rooting for (plus Poulter) vs the emotional hedge of "betting" against my preferences.

Can't believe this is the last major of the year. Going to be hard for me to adjust to the PGA being in May

State of Tiger's game, per Mr. Woods:

...[T]he state of his game entering The Open at Royal Portrush is not at the same level [as at the The Masters].

"It's not quite as sharp as I'd like to have it right now," Woods said Tuesday morning after a seven-hole practice session at Royal Portrush. "My touch around the greens is right where I need to have it.

"I still need to get the shape of the golf ball a little bit better than I am right now, especially with the weather coming in and the winds are going to be changing. I'm going to have to be able to cut the ball, draw the ball, hit at different heights and move it all around. Today it was a good range session. I need another one tomorrow. And hopefully that will be enough to be ready."
Uhhh... sounds pretty ready to me. Mr. Never Satisfied is satisfied with his touch around the greens. Although he is concerned with his ability hit every kind of shot with every club -- cut, draw, high, low, medium -- he did just that at the range today and wants to see one more good practice session. Well, we'll see. I am not throwing him off of the Sage team due to poor play.

Team Cato decided to pick a core group and try to stick with it during the year. That group is getting more expensive.

    British Open:

    Koepka 10
    McIlroy 8
    Molinari 6
Scott 4 (sorry Tony, I hope you win!)
    Spieth 2

Winning score: which way will the winds blow? -9

Prior picks for reference US Open:

    Koepka - 10
    Rory - 8
    Finau - 5
    Adam Scott - 4
    Spieth - 3

    Winning score: -5

Sorry about that, missed that rule. I was just counting to 30 and picked Frittelli because he won last week. Drop him and I'm still at 29 and hopefully within the rules.

You are actually at 30 by dropping Frittelli (since Graeme costs 2 and not 1). But by dropping Frittelli you are indeed now within the rules.
