Another JHS alum here. Seriously, what is he going to teach? PE? Is he qualified?

Like some of you (Julian?), Jordan H.S. is my alma mater. As a high-school coach, I'm pretty sure he'll have to teach at least one class. Obviously, Abnormal Psychology with Sheed will be a hot ticket.

Wow. I know several Jordan alums too.
Sheed has always been... Fascinating to me. So much talent, so much headcase.
How will he teach when he can’t even read?
Add me to the JHS alum list...I think this is pretty cool. Will certainly generate some interest in the basketball team!
He missed getting technicals.
Riverside alum here. Hoping to land Vince Carter once he retires. Muhahahha.
Where I grew up I believe you were required to have a college degree from a legitimate institution in order to teach (and I believe to coach). 1) Does he have a degree? (I am truly not sure) 2) If so, is the institution from which he holds this degree legitimate? (I am pretty sure it is not)
I work at a high school in eastern NC. We have coaches that do not work at the school for some sports. I don't know if there is a county rule in place but I doubt it. I'm sure he got hired on his qualifications and popularity, but I don't see any rules being broken.
Maybe Hanstravel can come help him. He could at least show him how to read them "Chicken Little", bless his heart.
Love, Ima
If he does indeed teach, who's going to grade test papers seeing he probably can't read. Oh, the lady that graded the fraud class papers. I had forgotten about her. GoDuke!
I, too, am a Jordan High alum. Not really enthusiastic about the hire...

Back of the envelope based on this thread, I'm estimating ~63.8% of DBR posters are apparently JHS alums.
My son is a student there now, sophomore on varsity baseball. Will have to ask him tonight about the buzz
