The use of coal, oil and gas to produce electricity is expected to fall in 2023, according to the report, published Wednesday by energy think tank Ember. This would mark the first year to see a decline in the use of fossil fuels to generate electricity, outside of a global recession or pandemic.

But those rates may even off soon.
The study looked at sea level rise since 2010 along the U.S. Gulf Coast and the Southeastern U.S. in general. During those 12 years, Tulane scientists found a sea-level rise of roughly half an inch per year during the 12 years that were analyzed.

While the sea level rise has been in record territory around the southeastern U.S. and along the Gulf of Mexico, scientists said the rates may return to the previous rises predicted by large climate models, phys.org reported

yes indeed, weather is not climate, but we smashed our previous record high yesterday by five degrees...88 ...ouch.
This makes me want to cry. The water temperatures around Florida are just insane. I honestly don't see how we turn this around, people are just too selfish.
