It's a start!

A boom in wind and solar has pushed the amount of electricity produced by renewable energy to record levels last year, according to a new analysis.

The use of coal, oil and gas to produce electricity is expected to fall in 2023, according to the report, published Wednesday by energy think tank Ember. This would mark the first year to see a decline in the use of fossil fuels to generate electricity, outside of a global recession or pandemic.

Wind has been there for a while but certain solar investments are starting to reach price parity or even be cheaper than with conventional sources.

A new study from scientists at Tulane University found sea levels that were "unprecedented" through the 20th Century and are "three times higher than the global average" over the last 12 years. But those rates may even off soon.

The study looked at sea level rise since 2010 along the U.S. Gulf Coast and the Southeastern U.S. in general. During those 12 years, Tulane scientists found a sea-level rise of roughly half an inch per year during the 12 years that were analyzed.

yeah, we were lucky that our 88 came with ridiculously dry air, like 25% relative humidity, so the dew point was way down in the comfort range...summer in NC would give me mildew.

This makes me want to cry. The water temperatures around Florida are just insane. I honestly don't see how we turn this around, people are just too selfish.
