This thread moves fast so I hope this is new news...

It may have been mentioned upthread somewhere that perhaps this group would start to exert their influence.

Bit of a conundrum for Trump. How does he criticize anything Biden might do without admitting that Biden is President Elect...

Chose your idiom: Too little, too late? Try to put the genie back in the bottle. Pandora’s box is all ready empty. Still a big dollar GOP donor trying to make amends in his old age.

Charles Koch Says His Partisanship Was a Mistake.

He probably doesn’t know the reference but it makes be uncomfortable that he wants to be called Chuckie.

Thanks for the link. Can’t be a coincidence that these CEOs are planning unified action to counter any attempt to overthrow the election results after hearing from Timothy Snyder, author of On Tyranny. They seem to be taking to heart his warning: ”What Donald Trump is attempting to do has a name: coup d’état. Poorly organized though it might seem, it is not bound to fail. It must be made to fail.”

They appear committed to action, if necessary, to “make it fail.” Preëmptive warning, I suppose.

Look out Trump haters, the big artillery is here:

”President Trump has put his personal lawyer, Rudolph W. Giuliani, in charge of his campaign lawsuits related to the outcome of the election, as well as all public communications related to them, four people familiar with the move said on Friday.”

I agree with this, and Porter Wright deserves this fate.

Good one, OPK. That album has two of my favorite songs — “Similar to Rain” and “Mutineer”. This guy was one helluva songwriter.

There may be a one-word answer why these firms are leaving: Rudy.

Quick aside: Jason Isbell and a very pregnant Amanda Shires covering Mutineer on Letterman: https://youtu.be/TX4nrkd0b0I

Bill Simmons has a fantastic theory for how to construct a basketball team. His basic premise is you can have one crazy person. Because that person can be influenced by more rational actors. You can't have two crazy people on a team because they will invariably be drawn to each other and there is a negative synergy that is definitely going to occur.
