Went 2-0 today with modest wagers, built a little more cushion. Never know what tomorrow might bring. I'm working til 10PM next two days, so will miss lots of hoops watching. Then I have some time off. Including two 3-day weekends, back-to-back, for proper perusal and hopefully a trip to DC for the East Regionals. If St. Mary's can beat Gonzaga tonight...

My completely neutral opinion believes it was an operator error issue.

    ...I resemble that remark....

But man, I was disappointed when I found that out, after taking it on the thousand dollar chin with WF. My God are they a poorly coaches awful team...most games. Childress couldn't do anything right. I don't think I've gotten a Wake game right this year.

Can we do a "non WF game" tally????

Day 2 of the ACC Tournament:

The Under wins easily as only 117 points are scored in the State - Clemson game. Oh, and because it cannot be pointed out enough, ACC refs robbed Clemson with that phantom foul call.

One way or another I knew it would be State that would derail my ascent to the top of the degenerate dog pile.

I got the hint and started betting bigger in a prayer to make up some ground, any ground. +500 and improved my picks to 15-5.

3-3 yesterday but I ended up making more than 400 fake bucks because I got my best bets right and missed on the ones I was less confident about (and only wagered 200 or 300 units). I'm more than 4000 intpo green numbers and in 8th place. I marvel at those of you who are above $10k... amazing picking. Pity this is for fake bucks.

None of the ACC games are up yet... someone let me know as soon as they are. I need to bet Duke before the official announcement comes that Zion is playing

I'm with you on #1. I think that's going to be something like a 65-55 affair.

The Virginia vs. N.C. State Over/Under is a push for me at 132 total points. That's my first tie in the contest.

My night game bets are placed:

North Carolina (-7.5) and Duke (-12) are my choices.

This contest really changes the way one watches games. I was rooting hard for double overtime because I bet on the Over. If Terance Mann doesn't make that amazing shot the Over would have been in play in double OT.

Saw an UVA/FSU line for tomorrow and made a wager

    but no Duke/cheats line yet.

    Only 3 games left!!

I've had fun with this!! Maybe that's obvious, but I have. I've educated myself on some wagering issues.

Have some vaca time coming, which is long overdue, would be fun to do a similar thing for the NCAA TOurney, Jason, is that possible?

A: well, they can't be bothered with the Duke/Cheats line yet, what with all the hoopla over the main 930 game, Alabama State and Texas Southern or something.

B: YES YES YES Jason let's do a bracket contest....with this format. It would be far superior to the normal bracket contest...in this one, you could stay alive...

Yup, we did a NCAA tournament wagering contest last year and we will do it again this year.

This is why I'm tapping out at this juncture. I was rooting for Syracuse to hit a 3 to save myself a loss on my ATS bet. Can't permit conflicting loyalties to trifle with Duke's mojo. Go to holy hell Carolina, you perverse wads of barely sentient pond scum.
