I teach pickleball at all levels, and have found that video recording is a tremendously effective tool.

I am looking to purchase an inexpensive video recorder and tripod (perhaps remote operation). I am inexperienced with editing software.

The camera will primarily be used indoors, but there will be some use on outdoor courts. Wide angle capability would be nice to film a full court during a game, but is less important than cost effectiveness. Basic editing software should be sufficient, I would like to be able to edit down to the strokes or rallies I would like to use for instruction and add voice over comments.

I would appreciate any hardware/software recommendations.
