I bet we'll have a very good game plan, because Cut has consistently done that in previous bowls. The question though is whether we can execute or not.
Having a healthy QB and two healthy starting LBs would not hurt one bit.

Temple is a tough team to pass on so it will be imperative to come out and establish the running game to open up the passing game. A healthy Brittain Brown alongside Deon Jackson would be really helpful.

Edit: Temple #7 in the nation in Passing Yards Allowed:

I think Cut has prepared the team very well for all 5 of his Duke bowls - face it, Duke was pretty big underdogs to Cincy, Texas A&M and Arizona State - and the Devils had a real chance to win all three of those games. They came out on fire against Cincy and A&M. And of course, they've won their last two...

Duke freshman defensive tackle Tahj Rice underwent an appendectomy on Monday evening. He'll miss the @IndyBowl, per @SarahFetters.

    And the hits continue

Speedy recovery young man. See you in Atlanta in a few.

Was it a recent practice injury? Or a wait and see thing that lingered from the season but did not heal enough to avoid the surgery?

    OPK
I’m guessing acute appendicitis from the realm of bad luck in a young adult.

Will any of the DBR community be at the pregame Duke tailgate party in the morning? I wish there were some way to identify each other—I would love to meet some of you guys! I guess I could have a sign with my username on it like this guy:

Or perhaps a more subtle approach:

It looks like we may catch a break on a the weather in Shreveport. We are forecast to get 2-3 inches of rain tonight and then stop before game time. High tomorrow of 65 and hopefully sunny.

I'll be at the game, but won't be at the official Duke tailgate. I will be at the live radio broadcast tonight.
