    Nico Pierre undergoes season-ending surgery

    Another in a long line.

    From Duke press release.

Duke redshirt senior running back Nicodem Pierre underwent surgery Monday to address a fractured right clavicle suffered in the Blue Devils’ loss to Wake Forest. He will be out of action indefinitely.

Pierre, a native of Miami, Fla., has appeared in all 12 games this season, rushing seven times for 50 yards and one touchdown.

The surgical procedure was performed by Dr. Jonathan Riboh.

By all accounts, Nico was a great teammate and a positive influence on the team.

    Thanks for everything, Nico!

Sorry to hear that. Hope he heals quickly and has a great life after Duke. I'm glad he got it done while Duke is likely still paying for it.
