UNC actually has a decent defensive line and that's really what you need as a Pitt antidote. Along that same vein, UVa has struggled this year when our run fits are off and they were off last night.
Pitt played a good game and I don't want to write anything to diminish that. That said, UVa had 2 fumbles (both recovered by UVa) and 3 penalties on its first possession. They went on to have 10 penalties for the game, most of the concentration variety (e.g., false starts).
Good teams don't make mistakes and take advantage of others'. Last night, Pitt only made one serious mistake (losing a WR in coverage) and it led to our only TD.
