What rankings are you using there? I thought State had dropped out?

Bob Green appears to be on the cutting edge, using the first CFP Rankings. They were announced Tuesday.

NC State is indeed ranked, mostly because there is still a tiny bit of hope that it needs to squeeze out of you.

It is very wet in Charlottesville for the Pitt - Virginia game. There are puddles of water in the center of the field.

    Halftime: Virginia 10, Pitt 7

The game has been sloppy at times with lots of penalties due to the weather.

Pitt's rushing game and offensive line continues to impress at UVA. And their field goal kicker just nailed another 53 yarder to just about ice it. He's the Anti-Blewitt

    Final: Pitt 23, Virginia 13.

Final analysis is too much Darrin Hall for Virginia to handle. The Pitt RB rushed for 229 yards and three TDs.

How in Hades did Pitt lose to the cheats?
[redacted] them and the horses they rode in on.

Pitt accused UNC of stealing offensive signals. I really hope we don't finish 7th in the Coastal.

Pitt started the season very slow, and has been getting better. They gave up 60 plus to a Penn State team that is not nearly as good as projected early.

They'd have given up 60 to us if we hadn't, oh, never mind.

That is true...we left a minimum of 9 points on the field, and as many as 21. With over 600 yards of offense, 45 is a disappointing ratio of production. Clearly the Pitt loss was the result of bad defense more than bad offense or special teams, but both made a ton of mistakes that could have led to a win in spite of the defensive problems.

Brett Friedlander: Five questions to ponder before kick-off.

    http://nsjonline.com/article/2018/11...re-kickoff-21/

It’s that time of year in which good seasons can become historic, mediocre seasons can be saved, bad seasons can turn ugly and coaches will determine whether or not they’ll be back again next year.

That's a well written article with some good observations, but he plays fast and loose with his memory on what happened in what year...saying the 8 lateral play was in 2016 and mixing up Duke's four game losing streak year with their six game losing streak year. Also apropos of nothing, Brett and I knew each other when we were both at U of South Carolina...

IIRC, Sourpuss Johnson can put an end to unc's meager bowl hopes today, unless of course they qualify as academic stars at 5-7 (attempt at humor or irony or something)

Georgia Tech 14, Carolina 7 early in the 2nd Quarter. Carolina's points produced by the defense recovering a fumble and running it back for a TD.

    Clemson destroying Louisville 28-3.

    Syracuse 14, Wake Forest 10.

The Cheaters only have eleven games since the game against UCF was cancelled. So the best they can do is 5-6, and I believe they’ve already been eliminated

Can UNCheat make a bowl at 5-6?
