With the MLB playoffs in full swing, here's a trip back in time.

I missed it a couple of days ago, but Monday was the 30th anniversary of this moment. Still gives me goosebumps.

Monday was also the 30th anniversary of the Catholics vs. Convicts game, Miami vs. Notre Dame.

Man, what a hell of a sports day that was.

The linked video shows the whole game, but I've cued it to the climactic play when Pat Terrell batted down Miami's attempt at a go-ahead two-point conversion with 45 seconds left.

One of my first sports memories. Thanks for sharing this.

I remember this moment well, watching with my Dad, and replaying it over and over when we'd play whiffle ball in the back yard, as I know millions of kids did in the wake of this home run.

One of the few games I watched with my father.great memory. He was a big time Dodgers fan.my son inhearited his baseball collection .mainly Dodgers
