Monday was also the 30th anniversary of the Catholics vs. Convicts game, Miami vs. Notre Dame.
Man, what a hell of a sports day that was.
The linked video shows the whole game, but I've cued it to the climactic play when Pat Terrell batted down Miami's attempt at a go-ahead two-point conversion with 45 seconds left.

I remember this moment well, watching with my Dad, and replaying it over and over when we'd play whiffle ball in the back yard, as I know millions of kids did in the wake of this home run.
