Tickets to Hamilton in Puerto Rico

    Hey guys and gals,

Okay, throwing this out there, because... why not?

My wife is a HUGE Hamilton and Lin Manuel Miranda fan. I mean... huge. She's been a theatre person her entire life, but this is a whole different thing. My three year old daughter at this point literally sings the entire sound track.

I know that they are doing a production of Hamilton in Puerto Rico in January of 2019. While we are not a super wealthy family, I did want to see if I could find tickets for her. It would be the event of a lifetime for her, and so I am willing to spend a decent amount.

Does anyone here know anything about this, and how one would go about getting tickets, or does anyone have any sort of connection they could share?

Shot in the dark, I know But it's my wife, and she is great, and I would love to somehow make this happen.

    Thanks!

I haven't heard anything about when tickets will become available. Take a shot in the dark - reach out to Lin-Manuel Miranda and ask him. Tell him your a teacher and about your daughter. He may be able to tell you. A guy that tweets out good luck messages the night before the AP exam is a good guy.

eta - here is a link to info about tickets for residents of Puerto Rico but it doesn't indicate if other tickets are available: http://www.playbill.com/article/puer...ttery-and-rush

Hey DiK... yeah, if I had a way to get in touch with him, I might be able to convince him... he seems like the type who would take care of a teacher and his wife who is a therapist who works in underprivileged day care centers and nursery schools... but he’s a hard man to get in touch with

He has a website that lists some contacts - maybe one of them would pass it along: http://www.linmanuel.com/

and I found this: Sending fanmail to Lin?

I feel lucky to have seen Hamilton in NY with the original cast. Expensive 30th anniversary, but worth every penny.

I keep getting these ads from Prizeo - I know its a verrrrry long shot.

    https://www.prizeo.com/campaigns/lin...miranda/Ham-PR

For as little as $10 you can win:

Two (2) VIP tickets to Opening Night of HAMILTON in Puerto Rico
Two (2) tickets to the Opening Night after-party with Lin-Manuel Miranda and the cast
Signed and framed photo with Lin-Manuel
Day of sightseeing and dinner at exclusive restaurant
Meet Lin-Manuel for breakfast, then travel with Lin-Manuel’s parents to visit his father’s hometown, Vega Alta
Three (3) nights hotel accommodations in San Juan provided by Marriott
    Roundtrip airfare provided by JetBlue
    + more surprises to come!

You are going to love it. It exceeded my super-high expectations by a lot!
Why are you wasting time here when you could be wasting it by listening to the latest episode of the DBR Podcast?

Hey! Actually I am not going... they are for my wife, who is the biggest fan ever. She saw it without him on Broadway, but was dying to see it with him (she is totally in love with him, and has my permission to leave me for him if Lin Manuel is up for it.) It sounds like a great show, but someone has to stay home and take care of the kids!

Still SO thrilled... my wife is just the most lovely, giving person I know, and if anyone “deserves” it, it’s her

Awesome! You definitely win the husband of the year award. Very cool that she will be in the room where it happens. I saw it in NY after Miranda left and it was incredible.

Well get ready; he's in the new Mary Poppins as the "Bert" character.
Nothing incites bodily violence quicker than a Duke fan turning in your direction and saying 'scoreboard.'

Oh yes, I know... I've known since the world knew, and have had to sit through every possible tidbit that exists about it. Much to my horror
