awhom, can you post the numbers for the Kansas-MSU game? Also, was there a fifteen minute or half hour breakdown of the Duke-Kentucky ratings? I am betting the first half was significantly higher than the second as the game was clearly a blowout and it was late at night. I would imagine KY fans and even some Dukies chose to go to sleep rather than watch what was clearly tremendous mismatch.

I know that this Duke-KY was very similar to last year's Champion's Classic versus MSU (which averaged 2,967,000 viewers) but I suspect the numbers were a lot higher if we only look at the first half or so.

I have not seen breakdowns. ESPN would usually be the one to publicize that sort of thing themselves, but they probably are not motivated to do so in this case.

Tuesday’s Duke-Auburn semifinal had 2.17 million viewers, up 422% from last year’s first semifinal, which aired in the early afternoon (Marquette-Wichita State: 415K). Cavs - Lakers/Lebron at 8 that night. Moving to the deuce wouldn’t work as the two games would compete for b-ball viewers.
