Remind me how the FedEx fields work? Do they shrink week to week based on prior performance? Is there a list somewhere of those who qualified for the playoffs?
They start this week - are we doing the four week pool with weekly winners - same format/rules as we did with the majors? And we pick one team that you ride through all four events?
I think the only open question is what we do with the FedEx Cup prize money. We either disregard it or count 10% of it. I'd vote for not counting the FedEx Cup money at all. The tour championship winner got $1.58 million last year and 30th place got $140K - so it's kind of a similar payout structure to the majors.
If anyone wants to play and doesn't know all the rules, I'll re-post them here.
Picks due by midnight ET on Wed.

I realized I could just google this myself. Here’s the field: https://www.pgatour.com/fedexcup/201...n-johnson.html
125 play week 1, then 100, then 70, then 30.
Don’t take McIlroy, Garcia, or Stenson
This is harder than the individual events, since you are taking overall performance vs getting lucky on a hot streak. There is a temptation to spend all my 30 points on the top three golfers, but I'm resisting and will still try to spread it around a little. Also going with at least one name I have yet to select.
Here's my team.
Koepka 10
Rose 8
Watson 5
Simpson 4
Woods 3
Q "Why do you like Duke, you didn't even go there." A "Because my art school didn't have a basketball team."
For the tiebreaker, should it be the cumulative winning scores of the four events?
I'm good with either eliminating the FedEx prize money or including just 10% of those winnings. And definitely in favor of picking one team for the duration.
Koepka - 10
Thomas - 9
Fleetwood - 5
Woods - 3
Finau - 3
Carolina delenda est
Simpson - 4
Woods - 3
Reed - 5
Rose - 8
Johnson - 10

Schauffle - 4
Woods - 3
Good luck everyone.

Here is my team. Only using 29 points, so will see if that comes back to bite me.
Koepka - 10
Thomas - 9
Fleetwood - 5
Woods - 3
Sneds - 2
Stating the obvious, but this is a bit different than picking the majors, as I'm trying to find guys who will be consistent top performers across 4 events and not just who will win this week, which results in a more top-heavy team. Also going with the guys who are hot (Koepka and Snedeker) so I hope their recent form continues.
Tiger is the best value at 3 (and 9 of us so far have him - BobGreen is the only Tiger-less team so far) but I do worry about his durability playing 4 events in a row. Hard to leave him off the team though (as others seem to agree).
