Jonathan Kuminga, the top 2021 prospect, is going to release a top 5 this afternoon at 3:00 p.m. Eastern. The latest gossip is that he's looking at either Texas Tech or the G-League. I would not be surprised to see Duke among the list of top 5. For what it is worth, he only follows 19 twitter accounts. That list includes Duke's official account as well as incoming Class of 2020 commit Jalen Johnson. He also follows John Calipari, for what it's worth. My guess (I am bad at this) is that he'll have Texas Tech, Duke, Kentucky, Auburn, and another SEC team.
I do believe this is all ado about nothing...
Looks like we have reached out to recent Florida transfer, Andrew Nembhard. He played with RJ @ Montverde in high school. Good PG prospect - looks like we will be going at both him and Kennedy Chandler.

This is most likely a due diligence effort. That being said, Nembhard is a heck of a point guard. He's big (6'5") and quality defender, scores well enough, can dish it out, and he's a good defender. Nembhard struggled as a 3-point shooter in his sophomore year (30.8%) but was closer to a 35% 3-point shooter as a freshman and has consistently been a 75%+ FT shooter in both years. His assist rate is very high. Florida has played at an incredibly slow pace the past couple of years. Averaging 5.6 assists when your adjusted tempo is 320th in the nation is impressive. Seeing Nembhard in a faster-paced system would be really interesting. If the coaching staff thinks Chandler is not an option or that Jeremy Roach is a one-and-done, Nembhard would be a heck of an option. He will be among the best PGs in the country and could be #1 if he regains his shooting form from 3.

'When I got on the bus for my first road game at Duke, I saw that every player was carrying textbooks or laptops. I coached in the SEC for 25 years, and I had never seen that before, not even once.' - David Cutcliffe to Duke alumni in Washington, DC, June 2013
"We are not provided with wisdom, we must discover it for ourselves, after a journey through the wilderness which no one else can take for us, an effort which no one can spare us, for our wisdom is the point of view from which we come at last to regard the world." --M. Proust
Work e-mails get a thorough review. I'm being paid to be precise at work. This board isn't getting that level of review unless you start paying up.
