'When I got on the bus for my first road game at Duke, I saw that every player was carrying textbooks or laptops. I coached in the SEC for 25 years, and I had never seen that before, not even once.' - David Cutcliffe to Duke alumni in Washington, DC, June 2013
Rough day 3 for Julian, currently +1 for the day, 6 back of the lead.
The co-leader is Ian Poulter who fired -7 today. Interesting position for Poulter, was told at last week's Match Play Championship that he had qualified for the Masters by reaching the final 8. He was misinformed. He stands 51 in the world golf ranking and the top 50 received Masters invites. Poulter needs to win in Houston to qualify for the Masters.
Suri making a run on Sunday: -5 through 11 holes, now tied for third at -13 only 2 back of the lead.
Streelman mired in a tie for 44 at -8.
How about Poulter sinking a 20' putt on 18 to force a playoff so he could qualify for the Masters? Would have been 1st player out according to world rankings.
