This team sure has heart. Things were ugly. Couldn't get stops when they needed it. And then they just dug in and did what they had to do. Duval and Bagley were great. Trent made some big 3's. Carter made some huge plays and got huge rebounds. Allen was steady and had a 4 x 5 game.

We just need more selfish players. Selfish players seem to be the key. He seemed extra selfish out there in the 2nd half. Loved every minute of it .

  6. Proud to say when we were down 9 and the forum was still in a meltdown, posted:

I actually don't think we're playing THAT badly. Just not making shots, including free throws.

If we shot 33% from 3 and say, 70% from FT we would be up 7 points.
Our shooting reverted to the mean plus better offensive flow, ball game.

You see that big hug by Bagley after the game? Man, he's selfish.

I had to leave after the 1st half to watch my daughter's dance event. Obviously I'm bad luck. I apologize.

If this is the Trevon who shows up the rest of the season...everyone else, watch out.

    Great win.

The offensive key was restoring Trevon to primary ball-handler. It accomplished two things:
    (1) Loosened up the defense. Trevon and Javin are bad off-ball perimeter players because they can't shoot. (It's not their fault really; they shouldn't be used that way).
    (2) Trevon's a quick guard and UNC has had problems defending quick guards all season. He used his quickness to make plays inside the paint with dropoffs and lobs to the big men.

The zone was more or less very good to great all game. No worries there. Can we continue to get enough offense to contend for a title? Offense is the key to this team. Defense will be there.

Very happy and very happy for Grayson!

EL BINGO ^^^^ ...the math became apparent tonight in the second half.

Trevon playing well = Bagley and Grayson playing well at the same time.

Y'all were down 50-43 when I tuned in. I'm clearly the difference maker. Who is sending me pie.

I hope UNC enjoys the 6th seed.
