Wow. That's like seeing three-seconds called.

    Laskey in danger zone.
Was watching on my phone. (Ain't technology great!) That balk, and I'm sure you saw it at the ballpark, and I assume that's where your are, was a "no doubter". He made his complete stretch and windup, taking the arm back to throw, and then slow-motioned his arm as he came forward. Very strange looking and hard to imitate, but definitely a balk. Guess he lost his grip on the ball (maybe(?) LGD! GTHc! 9F!

Bases loaded two, outs, Laskey running on fumes, 92 pitches.

    Duke going to the pen.

Chilliari is the usual Tuesday starter. Pitched four against Liberty on Tuesday.

You want your Sunday starter to eat more innings.

    A single makes it 4-1.

All four Carolina runs have come with two outs.

Sunday baseball can be a different sort of beast.

But it would take quite the rally. Quite the rally, indeed.

Herron 3-run blast over left-field wall.

    That's a start, I suppose.

8-4 Heels after five. A quick 2 hours, 10 minutes.

    Sunday ball.

Third game in three days tends to find college teams with tired bullpens. Common expression is "we ran out of arms.

Gotcha...I knew arm management was a key in these series, but somehow the phrase "Sunday ball" made me think there might be something else. This makes perfect sense. I knew Pollard was very carefully counting pitches for Labosky and DeCaster.
