    Happy Birthday Coach K

Happy 71st, coach. I know you are reading the DBR for our opinions on rotation, defense, and whether or not you should continue to recruit one and dones...

I just came on to post this because I hadn’t seen it earlier today, which surprised me.

    Happy birthday, Coach K!

When you do decide to retire, please come up with a great name, something other than the old "Invisible" that you are using in chat now. We will be sure to give you plenty of chances to play the halftime trivia game.

    Thank you, sir!

I believe 2018-19 will be K's last as head coach. Not a bold prediction of course given Coach K is 71.

I think so too. But happy birthday K, and CHEERS!

Before K, I suffered through Neal McGeachy and Bucky Waters...and the early days of Bill Foster, who gave us one magical year. Then there were the early days of K, which were tough. I remember meeting him at that ACC tournament where they lost to Virginia by like 42 points in the first round. It was easy then, no media or anyone but a few Iron Dukes even came to the hospitality room at the hotel in Winston. He has stated that the Virginia rout was the low point, that and losing to Wagner in a reg season game...but man, since then, it's been an amazing ride.
