Yeah, fair point. Not sure of the actual signing date, but I believe it was technically passed (with no dissenting votes) on July 2. The version at the National Archives was definitely signed later, but was also not the original, though I believe it is considered the "official one".
In any event, deaths 50 years to the day from adoption for two of the key Founding Fathers (many would argue the two most important) still strikes me as a remarkable coincidence.
