Amongst my many incredible and admirable qualities, my unabiding humility is perhaps the most impressive of them all.
I do not think that word means what you think it means.

To be honest, at first, I thought you were Roland and the hair was a ruse.

Half my gain from yesterday would have disappeared without my having sold. Now I can buy some more a take the same trip again.

Out of curiosity, what do y’all use to monitor large price changes? I like the Fidelity quick look of all the industry and sectors but would like something a bit more custom aside from setting a watch list with notifications on.

    Nice work.

I bought META at $100/share on 10-28-22. It hit $200/share this month.

Admittedly that took four and a half months.

    Awesome!

Keep doubling your money every 4.5 months and you will one day be King! You merely have to live long enough.

Well done! Have you taken any profits?

All of it gone now; sometimes you have to just enjoy the free Happy Meal when they give it to you.

Ugh, I have not. I am great at waiting patiently for where I want to buy, terrible at cashing out. You think it's time to take some green?

Yes, if it has doubled if you sell half you are now using the "house's money". I've been guilty of not taking profits only to watch the stock give back much of the gains. I was fortunate to buy Nucor in the 40s. I've taken my money out and continued growth and reinvested dividends it remains my largest position. It isn't a binary decision, you can continue to own shares.

Not sure value is beating growth at the moment as the banks tend to get lumped in there. But the OPEC announcement is likely to bode well for parts of it.
