    Christian Laettner's mother has died

    Very sad news.

    She was a lovely woman.

    I remember her singing "Amazing Grace" in the bar at the Duke hotel for the 1992 Final Four.

    What a shame! I lost my mother when she was 74 and that is just too young. Condolences to the Laettner family.
