This literally makes me laugh out loud daily.
greatest Twitter pleasure for me is avoiding it entirely. Immensely gratifying.
"We are not provided with wisdom, we must discover it for ourselves, after a journey through the wilderness which no one else can take for us, an effort which no one can spare us, for our wisdom is the point of view from which we come at last to regard the world." --M. Proust
Not to hijack the thread, but it's funny — I just deleted both my Twitter and Facebook accounts, and Twitter was immensely easier to deactivate and get rid of despite how much more I used it. As someone who develops software, you'd be shocked at just how much thought has gone into keeping Facebook users locked in and addicted to the service.
I stopped checking FB before the election last year. I got tired of fact checking people's ridiculous "shares". I didn't deactivate so I check my notifications about once a month. At first, it was hard but has been great since. You don't realize what a time suck Facebook can become in your life.
Don't let the name fool you - the 80s and 90s get their share too.
Also includes pop culture, fashion (including hairstyles!), memorabilia, with occasional moments of seriousness and snark.

For example, a picture of Keith Hernandez in his Mets uni, on the Sesame Street set next to Snuffleupagus:
"Sesame Street was brought to you that day by the letters C, O, C, A, I, N, and E."
"...living the high life Staubach style."
Too freeeekalicious funny!
Nothing incites bodily violence quicker than a Duke fan turning in your direction and saying 'scoreboard.'
