Other Duke Sports Broadcasts, 2017-18 Edition

The 2017-18 Duke Athletics season officially starts on Friday!

The first event will be a non-conference Women's Soccer game against the old enemy, which will be played in Cary at 6pm ET due to stadium renovations in Chapel Hill. That makes it a good time to go if you never liked braving the trip to enemy territory.

As will be the case with many other events this season, the game will be ACC Network Extra, which you can access through WatchESPN.

Women's Soccer has their home opener at 1pm ET on Sunday against Xavier and can also be seen on ACC Network Extra.

Women's Soccer hosts Bucknell at 2:00pm ET and can be seen on ACC Network Extra.

Men's Soccer starts their season hosting Central Florida at around 7:30pm ET depending on the ending of preceding games and can also be seen on ACC Network Extra along with the other game in the tournament.

Volleyball's season opener against Colorado State at 8:00pm ET is supposed on the Mountain West's online network, but I have not seen a direct link yet.

Men's Soccer hosts Fordham on Sunday and can be seen on Sunday at around 2:30pm ET depending on the finish of the preceding game.

We are in the part of the year where every weekend will be filled with ACC Network Extra broadcasts as it will be a busy Friday (times EDT).

Volleyball hosts UNC Wilmington at 10:00am and Northwestern at 7:00pm. The second game could be later depending on the finish of the preceding game.

Men's Soccer hosts High Point at 2:00pm.

Women's Soccer hosts UNC Wilmington at 7:30pm, which could also be delayed by a preceding game.

Volleyball finishes their tournament by hosting South Carolina at 3pm ET on Saturday and can be seen on ACC Network Extra.

  7. #7
Women's Soccer hosts Auburn on Sunday and can be seen on ACC Network Extra. The game is scheduled for 1:30pm ET, but that could changed based on the preceding game or weather again.

Midweek Men's Soccer begins on Tuesday when Duke hosts Presbyterian. The game is at 7pm ET and can be seen on ACC Network Extra.

Friday is a pretty big day in Duke sports.

Field Hockey opens ACC play at Virginia at 5pm ET and can be seen on ACC Network Extra.

Men's Soccer hosts Virginia Tech at 7pm ET to start ACC play and can be seen on these RSNs:

If you get any of those channels, you should be able to watch the game with no restrictions, even if you are not an in-market subscriber. ACC Network Extra may be blacked out in some portions of the ACC footprint, but there is no way of knowing until it starts.

Volleyball visits Texas Tech at 7pm ET and can be seen on FOX Sports Southwest+ and should not be blacked out if you are out of market for that channel.

I do not normally post opposing school feeds, but West Virginia will be broadcasting the big Women's Soccer game at 7pm ET on their website.

Women's Soccer hosts a rare Monday night game against Utah at 7pm ET and can be seen on ACC Network Extra.

Does anyone know why the Duke WVU soccer match wasn't on the ACC Network? Do they not venture to out of ACC areas?
    Really wanted to see it.

The ACC only owns its home games. As mentioned, WVU did broadcast the game for free and of course it was quite a good one to watch. It does not appear that replays are available.

It is a lighter Friday than usual, but there are two games on ACC Network Extra.

Field Hockey hosts Louisville at 6:00pm ET.

Volleyball hosts Coastal Carolina at 6:30pm ET.

Volleyball hosts Loyola Marymount at 6:30pm ET on Saturday and can be seen on ACC Network Extra.

Men's Soccer plays at Greensboro's Bryan Park at 7:00pm ET. It's technically a UNC home game, but due to construction, it's at a neutral site, so if you're in the area, it would be great to lend some support. Those who cannot can still watch on ACC Network Extra, but we will probably have to deal with biased announcers.

Might as well cover Sunday's ACC Network Extra schedule as well.

Field Hockey hosts Princeton at 12:00pm ET.

Women's Soccer hosts Virginia Tech at 2:00pm ET.

Men's Soccer hosts Wisconsin at 7pm ET on Tuesday and can be seen on ACC Network Extra.

Field Hockey faces Boston College in the ACC Quarterfinals on Thursday. The game should start at around 1:30pm ET depending on the finish of the preceding game.

The stations under Match 2 will cover our game:
    http://www.theacc.com/sports/2017/10...7quarters.aspx

The game should be unrestricted on television, so if you get the channel, you should be able to watch the game. There may or may not be an ACC Network Extra blackout in the conference footprint and there is usually no way of knowing until you actually try to watch.

Friday will be another busy day.

Field Hockey faces Louisville in the ACC Semifinals at around 2:30pm ET depending on the finish of the preceding game and can be seen on these channels (second list):
    http://www.theacc.com/sports/2017/10...-17finals.aspx

Many of those same stations will carry Women's Soccer's ACC Semifinal against Virginia at 5:30pm ET.

Both games are also on ACC Network Extra subject to possible blackout in the conference footprint.

Volleyball hosts Notre Dame at 6:30pm ET and can be seen on ACC Network Extra.
