    Today is the 72nd anniversary of the B-29 Superfortress Enola Gay dropping the Atomic Bomb Little Boy on Hiroshima.

    Yes, and a friend of my Dad and myself was the man that dropped it. The late Thomas Ferebee of Mocksville, NC. Used to take trout fishing trips with them when I was a kid. Very jovial fellow, as I recall. He was the bombardier aboard the Enola Gay.

    Major Thomas Ferebee was indeed the Enola Gay bombadier.
