    OK.

I pulled the picture from here on Amazon. That's only 60 mini pies total, but I guess that's close enough to round up to 99.

You must spread blah blah blah. That about sum it up. Thank you, Jim. Can we pin this post to this thread somewhere?

    Very.
No inside information but I agree wholeheartedly. And you have to believe that should Tre move on to the NBA — Coach K will have options to fill the PG role. We may not know all the potential options yet, but I am confident that at least one good one will emerge. Playing PG at Duke is a special opportunity.

Indeed it is a unique opportunity to play point guard at Duke. How long has it been since we have seen a recruited point guard to fail either at the NBA level or in coaching?

Could we call this pulling an "ol' roy" (sans a plethora of bus tire marks on the incumbent's body).

I wonder if this guy is eligible/interested in becoming a grad transfer next year.

He's a senior, so he's not eligible for a fifth year. He was a midseason transfer as a freshman, so he lost a year of eligibility as a result. His first year (a sort-of half-year) at Utah was his sophomore season. Doesn't make any sense, but them's the rules.

Perhaps too early to say, but Derryck Thornton says hello from out west.

Thornton, Paulus (yes, he's technically bouncing around as an assistant I think, but I would say he qualifies), Dockery, Tyler Thornton as well.

I though TT was on Wojo’s staff.

Following two posts about grad transfers, I thought you were (jokingly) suggesting a Thornton return to Duke. Every once in awhile I check on Thornton's stats to see how is doing. Three years removed from Duke, he is averaging 5 assists (up from 2.5 at Duke), but the rest of his stats are very similar to his frosh year. Last year, after a year sitting out, his stats were down across the board. Despite his uncle's concerns, I have to think that being the incumbent point guard with teams including Tatum, Kennard, Allen, Bagley, Carter, Williamson, Reddish, Barrett, etc. would have been preferable to the situation he chose. I believe the adults around him served him poorly.
